KIMBERLY SCHMIDT — President
As the President and co-founder of Educated Solutions Corp, Kimberly Schmidt maintains a hands-on approach to client retention, candidate sourcing, and customer service. She is actively involved in the organization’s day-to-day sales and recruiting efforts and believes in operating under the core values of respect, honesty, and integrity.

Before founding ESC, Kim was a Business Education Instructor, teaching high school students the skills required to succeed in the workplace. This desire to help people was the driving force behind founding the organization. She is a motivated professional with energy and contagious enthusiasm for recruitment. Kim’s commitment to hard work and quality has earned her the respect of both clients and candidates. Her number one goal is to provide a personalized approach to recruitment and utilize creativity in securing quality talent for her clients.
Kim has a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Aurora University. She is actively involved in various organizations and is committed to servicing the community in which she resides.

MICHAEL SCHMIDT — Owner
Mike Schmidt founded ESC in 1997, but for 15 years worked with ESC as a “side business.” In 2013, Mike began to direct all ESC operations full-time. Mike possesses over 20+ years in the Talent Acquisition world spanning numerous industries, including Financial, Technology, and Healthcare. Mike’s strong suit has been Recruitment Process Improvement, where he has transformed numerous organizations to streamline the process, implement metrics through recruiter scorecards, reduce time to fill, structure interviewing techniques, implement vendor service programs, optimize applicant tracking systems, improve advertising strategies to include Social Media adoption and most importantly heighten hiring manager satisfaction. Mike has delivered services to large organizations, such as Thomson Financial and CDW, small boutique IT firms and Healthcare staffing agencies. As Director of Staffing with Ministry Health Care and Affinity Health Systems (2008-2013), his output included exemplary results, which decreased the budget by 25%. It brought time to fill under 30 days for all staff (3000+ hires per year). It optimized the entire life cycle of recruitment.

Mike holds a Certified Internet Recruiter Status through AIRS, is certified in Behavioral Interviewing through Development Dimensions International Inc., possesses a Double Bachelor of Arts from The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in English and Communications, and holds his Masters of Science in Human Resources (MSHR) from Marquette University. Mike’s primary recruitment system is Taleo, where he holds super-user status and has presented on numerous topics during the annual “Taleoworld” national meeting. Mike consults with multiple ESC clients beyond contract staffing and always uses his experience to improve staffing.

THERESA GENTZ
Theresa Gentz joined Educated Solutions Corp as the Accountant/Virtual Office Manager full-time in October 2013. Theresa enjoys both aspects of these diverse positions. She handles the day-to-day financials and works closely with clients, vendors, and contractors, assisting with any questions or concerns they might have. In addition, Theresa manages the office’s daily operations, working closely with our internal staff. Before joining ESC, Theresa was a controller at a manufacturing facility in Waukesha, WI. Theresa holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee.

DELANEY KILBURG
Delaney Kilburg joined Educated Solutions Corp in 2025 as the Administrative Operations Coordinator. She provides day-to-day support delivering quality communication and services to our internal staff, and our candidates and clients. She enjoys staying busy and working to improve efficiency within our operations. Before joining ESC, Delaney worked in admissions at a college in Wauwatosa, WI and also has a background as a healthcare recruiter. Delaney holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Physiology from the University of Iowa.

JAMES HELLMICH
James Hellmich began his staffing career in 2016 and has become an experienced Senior level Talent Acquisition professional with full-cycle recruitment experience across multiple industries and employment types. He recruits for a broad spectrum of positions and skill sets by applying a proven and successful qualitative delivery process matching top talent with clients’ needs. James values efficiency, attention to detail, process, and integrity throughout the hiring process while providing a great candidate experience. He has recruited for various professional-level positions within IT, Engineering, and business/finance/marketing ranging from entry-level or hourly to the leadership- C-Suite level for various mid to large-size companies across the United States. In addition to his full-cycle recruitment experience, James has Account/Client Management experience working directly with hiring teams to facilitate business, deliver talent, and coordinate general delivery processes from end to end. James possesses a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

MARK POLCZINSKI
Mark Polczinski joined ESC in June 2015 as a Senior Recruiter/Account Manager. With 20+ years of experience staffing, recruiting, and consulting on talent acquisition processes, he possesses knowledge across various industries and verticals. Mark prides himself on providing a customized approach to each candidate and client he works with to ensure a great long-term fit for all parties. He is a natural problem solver who works with great passion and integrity to meet the needs of everyone involved.

Before joining ESC, Mark spent 10+ years in a sales development and recruiting role for CulverCareers. His hard work has created a distinguished career with a track record of consistently finishing in the TOP 10% among his peers, several promotions, and Recruiter of the Year awards. Mark is a graduate of UW-Madison with a double major in Marketing and Management & Human Resources.

AMANDA MANGLESS
Amanda Mangless joined Educated Solutions Corp in 2022 as a Recruiter. She originates from southeastern Wisconsin. Her dedication to clients, candidates, and the team allows her to build long-lasting relationships. She works hard to truly understand her candidate’s needs and works to find them a great company fit. Amanda prides herself on a solid work ethic and honest values. She believes everyone deserves to be happy and productive in the workplace, which allows for a happy and healthy home life. Amanda has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mass Communication, paired with a Minor in Advertising from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.

PAUL NENNIG
Paul Nennig joined ESC as a Recruiter in 2025 after graduating from the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater with a degree in Public Relations and a minor in Marketing. He brings a strong foundation in communication, relationship-building, and client service, which he leverages daily to connect top talent with the right opportunities. Before starting his career in recruiting, Paul spent several years working in the golf industry, where he developed a sharp attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a team-first mindset, traits that continue to drive his success at ESC. His background has given him a deep appreciation for collaboration, consistency, and delivering high-quality results. Paul finds the most rewarding part of recruiting is the opportunity to make a meaningful impact, whether it's helping someone take the next step in their career or supporting a business in finding the right hire. He takes pride in building lasting relationships based on trust, transparency, and follow-through. Outside of work, Paul enjoys spending time on the golf course, staying active, and cheering on Wisconsin sports teams year-round.

JOSH ELLS
Josh Ells joined ESC in 2025 as a Recruiter. Josh graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a degree in Public Policy and Administration with an emphasis on Personnel. After school Josh began his career working in traditional human resources for a small travel management company before shifting his focus to full-time recruiting as a Corporate Recruiter for a public accounting firm. In his free time Josh loves to golf, fish, and cheer on his favorite sports teams.
