Educated Solutions Corporation was a company developed out of pure frustration. Yes frustration. The people who originated ESC all started in the staffing industry as recruiters. These people loved recruiting, and have flourished in today's staffing market due to their recruitment skills. They have all been in the staffing industry for 10+ years and have seen the roller coaster ride of Contract and Direct Placement Services. To understand their frustration, you will need some history.

In the early 1990s the staffing market was growing at such a rapid pace, companies were delighted to give job/contract requirements to every firm in the market. The candidate pool was so tight companies did anything possible to fill their staffing needs. Strong recruiters flourished and sales became an easy gig in the staffing industry. As 1995 rolled around, firms were popping up all over. The market became saturated with numerous companies that had little experience and very limited recruitment skills. However with Y2K right around the corner, the market continued to grow and many of the "Body Shop" firms gained high profitability. The internet heavily assisted these non-qualified firms in their success. Soon the market allowed all firms to charge top dollar for any qualified candidate. Large firms focused on training to increase the number of candidates in the qualified pool.

Why were we frustrated?

By 1998, firms were taking full advantage of every client. Rates were being raised on contract staff, and direct placement rates reached 35 percent of salary in many industries. Many of the members of ESC now had moved to the "other side" of the staffing industry. We became recruiters for Human Resource departments in our client companies. In many cases we now controlled hiring from the numerous vendors in the market. We knew the processes and procedures of staffing firms, and now we saw the ridiculous antics and prices proposed by the cutthroat firms in the market. If you were in a position to hire at this time, I'm sure you shared our frustration.

We created ESC; a firm built on recruiting fundamentals. We know what it takes to locate and qualify candidates. We also know that current market rates are way out of your budget range. We have seen proposed rates, and we never liked paying for these services.
